Product, workflow, and public documentation changes that help you understand what is available in PaperDock.
Last updated
Existing PDF access and clearer file boundaries
Added MCP access to existing successful compiled PDFs with freshness context and a temporary private link. MCP file creation and upload now accept editable UTF-8 text only; binary uploads and replacements remain in the web app.
Comparison and connection resources
Added official PaperDock profile identity, a sourced Overleaf comparison with current plan details and project migration steps, client-specific MCP setup documentation, and a short account of why PaperDock is being built.
Clearer product and MCP discovery
Clarified PaperDock's online LaTeX editor category, free MCP connections, project permissions, and local-to-web collaboration. The MCP guide now answers common connection, capability, permission, and troubleshooting questions more directly.
Guided workflow demos
Updated the homepage with guided PaperDock demos for connecting an AI assistant, reviewing edits, discussing drafts through Comments and Chat, editing together, and compiling PDFs.
MCP reference aligned with current tools
Aligned the public MCP reference with PaperDock's published project, file, Comments, and Chat tools so the guide reflects the current connection surface.
Public MCP onboarding
Published the user-facing PaperDock MCP connection guide with setup steps for ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Claude Code, and Gemini.
